I looked up the GPM on the sv and the 20's. 16 max on the sv and 20 on the 20. I may just call surplus center on Monday and see if they can match something up for me.

The flow from the main pump is 20-25gpm depending on wear and exact model. Last I checked surplus center still sells the biggest pump used on some of the units.

So a 25 GPM controller would work then? I could always put a flow restrictor in if it was too much.

If your implement pump is 25 GPM, the valve should work fine.
GPM will dictate the speed of hyd operation.
Using the hyd fluid on a hyd cyl, will make it extend and retract faster than a lower GPM pump
Using the hyd on a hyd motor, will make the motor run faster.
You should always match the valve size to pump GPM.
By operating the lever on the valve, you are in control of the GPM going to the cyl or hyd motor.
Lever full fwd will provide full pump flow.
Does the valve you want have float, or do you even want it?

I do want float. I'm going to be doing a lot of dirt work so that would be a very handy feature to have. I finally found a 3 spool from Northern tools with float. Don't know why it was so hard to find. 2 spools with float everywhere. I am getting new hoses anyway so the bigger ports shouldn't be an issue I wouldn't think. I will probably order the restrictor valve too when I put this all together for lowering the bucket. That should keep it manageable, I would think.
Do you know which line on my 300 is the implement line?

The 25 GPM was an option on your tractor, so if you do have it, then the 25 GPM valve will work fine.
If you do have the smaller flow, and use a larger valve, it will still work, but with poor feathering control, and you will be at full flow at about half lever on the valve.
A needle valve will let you adjust the speed of operation for any cyl.

I think your 310B can be split without removing loader by unbolting loader mounting frames from rear axle housings. One would then have to move rear section back & forward. Size of job would be determined by the eyes of beholder.

I am having just about the same symptoms. I believe my pump is starving for oil but I checked the screens and filters so far but still have same problem. If anyone can help me understand the hydrologic system a little more I would appreciate it. Send me a personal message with your number and I'll call you. It would make it easier for me to understand talking on the phone lol. Hate to say it but reading isn't my strong suit. Thanks again.
